Uniform & Dress Code
At Bencubbin Primary School, students are expected to wear the school uniform each day. Our uniform policy supports a sense of belonging, pride and equality, while ensuring students are dressed safely and appropriately for learning and play.
Families are encouraged to support students to wear a complete, tidy uniform that is appropriate in size and suitable for daily school activities.
School uniform
The Bencubbin Primary School uniform includes:
- Red school shirt with logo
- Black school shorts, skort or tracksuit pants
- Red school dress
- Red school jacket with logo
- Wide-brimmed Bencubbin Primary School hat
Black bike shorts, leggings or tights may be worn under dresses or skirts. In cooler months, a black or red skivvy may be worn under the school shirt.
Bike shorts, leggings or tights worn on their own are not acceptable as legwear unless advised for a special event. Multi-coloured items are not part of the school uniform, except on approved free dress or fundraising days.
Footwear
Students should wear appropriate footwear that allows them to participate safely in learning and physical activities.
SunSmart
Bencubbin Primary School follows the WA Department of Education no hat, no play policy throughout the year. Students are required to wear their school hat during outdoor activities.
Where to purchase
School uniforms are available for purchase through the Bencubbin Community Resource Centre (CRC).
